On Friday, August 21, 2026, as part of the CFU Challenge 2026 U-14 Boys organized by the Caribbean Football Union (CFU), our young Grenadiers, playing at Los Establos in Cap Cana (Punta Cana), crushed the Dominican Republic's "Quisqueyanos" 6-1 in the semi-finals, securing their place in the grand final where they will face Jamaica's Reggae Boyz. This is an important victory for our young Grenadiers, who have achieved their goal and are preparing to defend this trophy, which Haiti already won in 2021 and 2022.

Summary : Haiti took control of the match from the first minute. Jerry Petit-Homme opened the scoring with a long-range shot from midfield that slipped through the hands of Dominican goalkeeper Ricardo Sang [1-0].

Haiti doubled their lead [2-0] thanks to a goal from Wensley Dumorne in the 5th minute, who collected the ball near the left side of the penalty area before firing it into the back of the net.

Haiti continued to apply pressure on the Dominicans and extended their advantage in the 25th minute with a shot from Jodeley Delmas. He capitalized on a poorly cleared ball just outside the box, beating the Dominican goalkeeper with a powerful shot to make it [3-0].

The Dominican Republic pulled one back in the 28th minute thanks to Pedro Ramirez, who reacted quickest to the rebound after goalkeeper Marc-Evens Lubin parried the initial shot, making it [3-1].

Haiti regained their lead before halftime thanks to Jean Paul, who intercepted a short pass from Ricardo Sang before beating the goalkeeper to make it 4-1.

After the break, our Grenadiers continued to dominate the game. Dumorne scored his second goal in the 41st minute, making it 5-1.

Haiti added a sixth goal in the 52nd minute thanks to a penalty converted by Ronelson Janvier, following a handball by a Dominican Republic player in the penalty area.
